Aegis Energy Advisors Corp. is an NASD registered investment
bank specializing in the domestic and international energy
sector. Founded in 1994, Aegis is headquartered in New
York City with an office in Houston and affiliate offices
in Dallas, Los Angeles, London, Singapore and Dubai.
We focus principally on the formulation and implementation
of strategies and transactions that enable our clients
to maximize value: mergers, acquisitions, divestitures,
joint ventures, and financial restructurings. Our service
offering is unique, combining the transaction experience,
financial knowledge, and capabilities of a traditional
investment bank with the technical, analytical and commercial
expertise of a consultant.
We eliminate the conflicts inherent in traditional advisory
relationships by avoiding the sell-side equity research,
brokerage, securities trading, asset management, public
underwriting, and lending functions typical of investment

In 1998, Aegis formed AegisMuse Associates LLC, a joint
venture with Muse, Stancil & Co. – a leading
international consulting company specializing in the technical
and economic assessment of downstream energy-related matters.
This joint venture expanded Aegis’ research base
and added a cadre of experienced, focused professionals.
